Our services are led by volunteers in the congregation, so every leader brings new insight, creativity, and inspiration.  In addition to some of the traditional songs and prayers, our services often include guided and private meditations, creative activities, spirited discussions, and self-reflection. Everyone is invited to participate to whatever extent they feel comfortable.  Prior knowledge of Judaism or Hebrew is neither required nor expected. Shabbat Shabbat services are usually held on the first and third Fridays of every month, with special dates arranged for important holidays.  Please note that we usually do not hold services during the summer months.  See our homepage for a list of upcoming services.  Services begin at 7pm.  Don’t want to go home and cook before coming to services?  Join us at 6pm for a fully-prepared supper! Cost of the dinner is $7 for adults and $4 for children.  Services are followed by a dessert oneg. High Holidays High Holiday services are co-led by congregation members Liz Michelena and Liahna Gordon. High Holiday services are always free and open to everyone.  No tickets or reservations required.  Childcare is provided.  Made with Xara Services © Chico Havurah.  2010.
