We are a small reconstructionist congregation creating a community grounded in spirituality, care, and learning.  We seek to honor Jewish history and culture by focusing on the kavannah (spirit) of the traditions, rather than rigid religious observation.  Our congregation is spiritually, liturgically, and socially progressive. A core value of this congregation is radical inclusivity.  Everyone, regardless of religious identity, knowledge, or background, is welcome to participate fully in our services and community.  Interfaith and LGBTQ families, those from other faith traditions, and people of all ages and incomes will find warmth and welcome here. All of our services focus on connecting our individual spiritual paths to the traditions of Judaism through contemporary meanings and interpretations.  Together we explore how to improve our selves, our relationships, our community, and our world with intention, integrity, and lovingkindness. © Chico Havurah.  2010.
