Havurah Happenings

Tony will make the FINAL Torah payment this month! This event must be commemorated and celebrated before summer! Yiskah's next visits are May 2,3 and June 6,7 (Shavout.) 
 
RETREAT DATE/AGENDA: Tentative dates in May set (either 17th or 18th) pending Dilia Loe's availability and either Subud Hall or Phylene's rec room for location. We plan 10am til 2 with potluck lunch @ 12. Agenda is full: officers/liaison roles; Yiskah's contract - how often/fees; Religious School issues, finances, fundraising ideas, and perhaps most of all the annual re-assessment of what we envision for our community in the coming year - and even beyond.
 
COMMUNITY SEDER: Tues April 22, 5:45pm (we think.) Silona will send signup sheet so pls RSVP Liz Michelena lizmich@digitalpath.net with what you'd like to bring to this Passover potluck.. Volunteers’ requested to setup in late afternoon and volunteers’ to cleanup.
 
Children will lead services Fri April 18, 7pm. Religious School will have their seder 3:30 to 5:30 on April 23. 
 
Volunteer sought to make and mail flyers for Havurah events. Issue can be re-visited at retreat when needs & roles discussed.
 
Tentative date for the annual yard sale is Sat Aug 9 at Jeaneese Charpentier's home. She will be willing to receive early donations and set aside for the sale.
 
FRIDAY SHABBAT: April 4. Shabbat Meditation recordings from Lori Kligerman; Jewish poetry (attendees may want to each bring a short poem to read) suggested by Laurie Feldman. 7pm Cong Church sanctuary.
